George Taplin
George and his wife, , are examples of Flint 
Hills craftpersons who currently live somewhere else. Mrs. Taplin was born in Manhattan, and lived as a child on a ranch in rural Chase County. The Taplins lived for many years in Manhattan. They currently live in Abilene, but their Flint Hills roots are deep enough to qualify for Prairie PastTimes. They weave and crochet rugs. We have their crocheted rugs and hot pot trivets and "mug rugs" here at PastTimes.
George is one of those folks who is usually able to show up when PastTimes needs a second salesperson on a busy day.
