Jackie Dickie
Jackie Dickie is a participant in the annual Flint Hills FolkLife Festival. Normally she demonstrates Butter Churning. This past two years, she demonstrated weaving on a table-top loom.
But for Prairie PastTimes, she makes her wonderful home-made soaps and related bath products. And recently, she added a line of home-made soy candles with fragrances. Jackie is truly a Cottonwood Falls resident of many talents.
Wintertime is a period of very low humidity here in Kansas, particularly when we are running our home heating systems at full blast. And our skin just wouldn’t make it through the winter without Jackie’s wonderful extramoisturizing bath bars, and now, hand lotions. 
Jackie lives in Cottonwood Falls, and is one of those dependable “go-to” persons for an emergency work substitute or some other crisis.
