Judy Dodson
Judy has been working in stained glass for over twenty years. It started innocently enough with suncatchers for the window
s of her home, but quickly became an addiction. Since there is no ‘Twelve Step Program’ for glassaholics, she’s still at it. She has made over twenty Tiffany style lampshades, but managed to get that particular obsession under control – they take an awful lot of time! For Prairie PastTimes, she is developing a series of miniature scenes of the Flint Hills in glass and will also be making suncatchers of flowers and birds, and churning out a newsletter off and on.
Judy was born and raised in Emporia and in Osage County. She admits to becoming claustrophobic in mountains, or cities, where she can’t see the wide open prairie sky.
