Wade Coester

WadeDisplayWade is a retired railroader. Way back “when”, Wade had a leather-working shop on Broadway in Cottonwood Falls, and he still does leatherwork occasionally. But Wade is now into wood-working.
As you shop Prairie PastTimes, you’ll find Wade’s remarkable hand-made picture frames hanging on the South wall of the store. And in the same general vicinity, you’ll see additional items - perhaps boxes, jewelry boxes, quilt hangers, cutting boards, etc. Wade’s items are made of Flint Hills woods, which he cuts himself, mills, dries and ultimately, turns into the remarkable products which he sells here……and on-line at www.springcreekcreations.com.
Wade and his wife LeAnn also own operate a local guesthouse, Plum Street Guesthouse Bed and Breakfast, which can be viewed at the same web location.
Wade can be reached at (620) 273-6775 or lacoester@sbcglobal.net
